Mr. McGarity:

If you are offering free beer and dinner, then you’ve said the magic words and I can certainly make myself free very easily anytime.  Also, if you know my delinquent uncles like you say you do, then you should know that they both talk a bunch of nonsense and should not be heeded.  My Uncle B. failed to mention that half of the beer during the chugging contest when down the front of his shirt.  As for golf, well,,,  I hadn’t played in over 2 years and Joe occasionally missed the ball entirely, yet we only managed to lose by a few strokes.  So we shouldn’t give them TOO much credit.

I’d love to hear the dirt on my uncles, although I’ve suspected for a long time that they are not the alter boys they claim to be.

I really do have a lot of free time and it would be my pleasure to meet up anytime you are free and would like to go out and explore Tokyo, whether it be the bars, restaurants or sight-seeing places.  You said you’re staying at the Imperial Hotel, but if you could provide the address, it would be easier for me to locate it.

As for an interpreter, I could ask quite a few people I know but since it requires them going to Nagoya, it would be best if I could quote them a fee from the beginning.  Also, please let me know for how long you will need one.  School starts next week and I’m not sure if they will be able to cut class, but I could certainly ask and I know that many would really jump at the opportunity if their schedules permit.

Looking forward to seeing you here.

PS:  All my contact information is below.  If you would like to call my telephone from America the number is xxxxxxxxxx  Otherwise, give me a call when in Tokyo and use the number below.
