Just discovered this song. For me it elicits very strong images/emotions of my time in high school. Aren’t we all dreamers? I think when the dreams start to die we’ve become too old. Adulthood has a way of killing youthful dreams and enthusiasm doesn’t it.
We get so wrapped up in what others want us to be, what corporations, countries, our own families try to mold us into, when do we have time to be ourselves?
“Imagine all the people.” Sometimes a song pulls us away from the daily noise, the ropes pulling us this way and that and give us such a clarity that it strikes a chord that is never forgotten. We are constantly programmed until, we decide to change some lines of code.
